PG Flow Solutions appoints new MD

Roy Rødningen has joined Norwegian pump specialist PG Flow Solutions as its new managing director.

Rødningen comes to PG Flow Solutions from steel development provider PCS Stokke Stål where he was additionally managing director. He has also held managing director roles at naval architect and marine engineering company Brevik Engineering and at lay-flat hose producer Fenner Mandals. Rødningen spent a decade with international drilling technology provider Aker MH/MH Wirth (now HMH), when it was part of Aker Solutions, and has additionally held managerial positions at NOV and Hydralift.
“Roy has broad business experience and solid know-how from main and growing firms with engineering, manufacturing and building at the core of their business. This is PG Flow Solutions in a nutshell. We are delighted that Roy has joined the company as managing director,” stated Stig Olav Bjørkedal, chairman of PG Flow Solutions’ board of administrators.
Rødningen succeeds former CEO Steve Paulsen, who informed the PG Flow Solutions board of administrators last 12 months that he needed to pursue opportunities outside the corporate.
“Steve performed a key role in successfully reworking PG Flow Solutions from being a provider primarily to the marine and offshore industries, to also changing into a trusted provider of progressive pump and liquid handling solutions to the aquaculture trade and land-based industries corresponding to wastewater. We are grateful for his wonderful contribution over a few years,” stated Stig Olav Bjørkedal.
