AxFlow makes Danish acquisition

AxFlow has acquired Pumpegruppen A/S, a Danish pump provider to the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries and for water therapy and common industrial applications.

Pumpegruppen is a full-service pump specialist representing manufacturers together with Grundfos, Wilden, FTI and Speck. The company is headquartered in Lyngby, 10 km north of Copenhagen, and has one other base in Rønde in Jutland.
“The acquisition of Pumpegruppen is well-aligned with our group technique to broaden the product and repair offering in Denmark. Pumpegruppen has a robust customer base and a sound development potential,” mentioned Søren Weihrauch, CEO of AxFlow A/S.
Under the leadership of CEO and former owner Erling Olsen, Pumpegruppen will continue to operate underneath its current title while being a part of the AxFlow Group.
